Jam Shack

We came here with little research and wanted to try out jam shacks carribbean roast. We ordered slow cooked lamb and my mate ordered pork and chicken and Mac and cheese to share. The wait we didn’t mind because the meat was slow cooked but it was worth the wait because every item on the plate was hot and falling off the bone! The food was absolutely perfect, slow cooked to perfection meat and veg ratio was on point, they’re not shy with the meat portion and everything was just sublime!! We will definitely dine back here! 10/10

Haven’t had a Sunday roast in the longest time, our friend suggested JamShack which I was happy about as it had been on my list of places to try for the longest time. It couldn’t have been a better experience, we were welcomed to our table and the menu was explained to us. The atmosphere and background music was on a perfect level for dining, I ordered the lamb as it’s my favourite. When the food came out it didn’t disappoint the portion sizes were so good the food was very delicious. Finished of with a very nice wholesome Sunday dessert of apple crumble, will definitely be returning.

Jam Shack: Omg the food is bombastic! Had sea bass roast with sides mac cheese with extra plantain. All presented so beautifully and so filling. Good value for money. My husband had Jerk chicken roast and he enjoyed very much. Eat our plates clean

The hostess was great at managing expectations as we turned up with no rsvp. She did let us know there will be waiting time but was very accommodating! The food was excellent- possibly the best roast I had out. Very authentic properly bbqed chicken and my first time trying jerk pork. Cannot wait to be back! Maya was great with the service too!!

First time trying Jam Shack and it was amazing! Every single item of food on the plate was delicious!! My friend and I, were so full afterward. The staff member named Ashleigh was really friendly and nice. Thank you, we will be back soon :)

Just when I thought that I had dined out for the last time a couple of years ago, having sampled almost every cuisine available in the UK (over 40yrs), I get invited by a very good friend from school days to meet another school friend to have a most incredible dining experiences at The Mount pub (30 Chingford Mount Road, London E4 9AB) a couple of weeks ago. The food was absolutely delicious, tender and moist. Every dish perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. I had the Chick Pea Curry starter, followed by Jerk Sea Bass & Macaroni Cheese side. Our server was pleasantly jolly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable with the menu. The atmosphere was elegant and comfortable. I can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu. Definitely a new favorite spot!

We’ve been to Jam Shack a couple of times now, and it has not disappointed! We tried the lamb and chicken roasts, which were both delicious, + the Mac and Cheese side is amazing, no notesss! It’s a bit of a drive for us to get here, but always something I look forward to and worth the journey!
